This is the first book, I read of Mitch Albom. I really liked the concept of Five People You Meet in Heaven. It helps you understand the true meaning of life, it creates an understanding which is necessary to achieve peace. I think the author beautifully communicated his ideas and the basic essential factors important for achieving peace, the truth that peace means something different for everyone. Every life spectacle has its significance. The truth that all lives are interconnected in one way or the other, all life has a significant value. We just fail to see and understand things at certain moments in life, but all events of our lives are the pieces of a puzzle. The fact that love never fades even when someone you love dies. That regret and hatred only creates a spiritual void in us. That in reality nothing is truly lost, every one leaves a mark on earth, in one way or the other. I will remember words that someone said to me, those words will hold value and if it helps me move on to something else, than life has a meaning. It just means something different for you, and something familiar to me.
Teaser: “All endings are also beginnings. We just don’t know it at the time.”
