We Were Liars was one of the 2014 releases I wanted to read, and finally when it came out, I didn’t wait much. I remember people telling me to read this book without reading the synopsis, and honestly, when I pick books I don’t really read the synopsis :p. I think this was a wonderful surprise, there were parts of the book which made me love the plot. It reminded me of the short stories my mother told me when I was a kid and knowing how perfectly the author incorporated it with her characters was epic. The way the storylines were represented was brilliant and it made you want to read the book. I didn’t stop reading it until I was done with it. The story had its own shock value, and it was great. The Sinclairs are stuck in my head. All I can say is read the book and you will understand why I love it so much, it left an imprint on my brain. It’s perfect in a heart wrenching way.
Teaser: “I will tell you a secret.”
