I wanted to read a Brandon Sanderson book for quite a while, when I had my hands around Mistborn I was definitely excited, and bracing myself. There were so many things I loved about this book, starting with Vin, she is one of those characters you just love. I was so impressed by her character and the way she was, it was epic.
Obviously, the guy is famous for a reason, the way he writes, the way he presents the world is so brilliant you immediately want to delve into it. I was literally reading with my eyes popped out..lol. I don’t know how to describe it, every one of the characters are so complex and have these layers and when I ended up unraveling them it was a treat. I loved the pace, loved the story line, loved the characters, the abilities. Vin didn’t remind me of a character I already read before and her character just creates sparks and interest and she is dark, smart, all an all I love her. Kelsier was another interesting character, and his history was heartbreaking but I loved his character, I feel like if I state more I might spoil the fun. So, I am going to stop, you guys should definitely read this trilogy. After reading the first one, I was kinda screaming because that ending left me broken hearted. Started reading The Well of Ascension hopefully will end it soon.
“And Vin liked solitude. When you’re alone, no one can betray you”
Me: That totally makes sense…:p
